Job Summary
Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in the facility and home to define participant care needs, then actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized care plans. Deliver and document interventions including active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional maintenance programs for activities of daily living. Provide training and instruction to Therapy Assistants to implement these functional maintenance programs while maximizing participant independence and safety. This role features lower patient volumes with no after-hours documentation, emphasizing long-term relationships over short-term rehab stints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Valid California Occupational Therapy License
- Proof of license eligibility
- CPR and First Aid certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or vaccine declination form
