Job Summary
Occupational Therapist coordinates and provides restorative and rehabilitative OT services within WelbeHealth’s interdisciplinary team (IDT). Conduct assessments in the facility and occasionally in participants’ homes to define care needs and goals; actively participate in IDT meetings to develop care plans; deliver and document interventions including active/passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and ADL training; work with Therapy Assistants to implement Functional Maintenance Programs; role emphasizes long-term relationships with participants, lower patient volumes, and collaboration across disciplines. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in OT (Master’s preferred), California OT license or license eligibility, and CPR/First Aid certification (within 180 days of hire; preferred at hire). Minimum two years of clinical experience with frail or elderly populations preferred. Location: Long Beach, CA. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy
- California Occupational Therapy License (or license eligibility)
- CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire (preferred upon hire)
