Occupational Therapist

Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in the facility and home to define participant care needs, then actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop care plans. Deliver and document interventions including active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional ADL support. Provide training and guidance to Therapy Assistants for implementing Functional Maintenance Programs. Manage lower patient volumes to prioritize long-term relationships with participants, ensuring work/life balance without after-hours documentation. Maintain a valid California Occupational Therapy License and CPR/First Aid certification.
