Occupational Therapist

Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments in the facility and home to define participant care needs, preferences, and goals. Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop care plans and deliver documented interventions including active/passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional ADL support. Provide training and guidance to Therapy Assistants for implementing Functional Maintenance Programs. Maintain a sustainable schedule with no after-hours documentation, focusing on long-term participant relationships rather than high-volume short-term stints. Requires a valid California Occupational Therapy license and CPR/First Aid certification.
