Job Summary
Evaluate clients and provide Occupational Therapy upon physician orders, managing and supervising OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the department's Occupational Therapy services, including scheduling, transportation, and filing. Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in Colorado while performing special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. This full-time role in Montrose, CO, requires travel between patient homes and involves caring for older adults in the Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
- A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
