Job Summary
Evaluate clients and provide Occupational Therapy upon written physician orders while managing and supervising OT assistants and rehabilitation aides in direct client care. Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the department's Occupational Therapy services, including scheduling, transportation, and filing. Comply with the Occupational Therapy Practice Act in Colorado. This full-time role involves travel between patient homes in Montrose, CO, with a Monday through Friday schedule. The employer is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified home health care agency serving older adults in Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed or registered in the state of Colorado as an Occupational Therapist.
- Graduate from an Occupational Therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association or is eligible for certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association under its requirements.
- A minimum of one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
