Job Summary
Practice independently in the community as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver personalized rehabilitation therapy to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or accident in their homes or care facilities. Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments. This role offers a per diem, per visit structure with pay ranging from $70 to $100 per visit depending on location and day. Candidates must hold a New York State Occupational Therapy license, have at least one year of experience, and maintain a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year occupational therapy experience
- Successful completion of probationary period as a VNS Health Rehab Intern
- Licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York State
- Valid driver's license
