Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices. Teach patients and family members about home safety, adaptive equipment, and strategies to manage daily activities. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other home health team members to adjust interventions based on changing conditions. Provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes to help them achieve independence and improve quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Active registered OT license in the state which you practice
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
- One-year Occupational Therapy experience in a clinical setting
- Current Drivers License
- Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations
