Job Summary
Perform thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, and ADL/IADL performance. Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects to develop individualized intervention plans and evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers to independent living. Continually revise care plans with nursing staff, identify equipment needs, and educate patients and family members on rehabilitative care and safety activities. Accurately document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Required Qualifications
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist in Hawaii
- Must be willing to travel in assigned territory
- Have graduated from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
