Job Summary
Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team in London, Ontario, providing individualized assessments and interventions for children and youth. Role focuses on developing creative, client-centered treatment plans to support participation in daily activities, with emphasis on fine motor skills and sensory integration. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, offering expert consultations, developing and implementing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and documenting care while ensuring ethical practice and compliance with licensing requirements. Collaboration with families, health care professionals, and agency staff is essential, along with ongoing program development within a child- and family-centered care framework.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science, Occupational Therapy
- Active member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an Occupational Therapy role
- Experience with children, youth and families is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Facilitate problem-solving within team context
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience with EMHWare is an asset
- Experience with eating disorders is preferred
