Job Summary
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans addressing functional limitations while encouraging patient-centered goals. Skillfully apply therapeutic techniques to meet patient needs, manage caseloads effectively, and maintain facility productivity standards. Develop trusted relationships with nursing staff and medical providers to optimize care, complete necessary documentation and billing, and stay current with evidence-based practices. Participate in clinical staff education, quality improvement programs, and supervise occupational therapy students to ensure quality patient care delivery. Comply with state practice regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science (or higher) degree from an Accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Vermont State License or eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- experience working within an SNF during previous employment opportunities or clinical rotations
- BLS training
- Open to new graduates with the opportunity for mentoring
