Job Summary
Supervise, evaluate, and provide occupational therapy services to patients in the clinic as prescribed by the attending physician while directing daily clinical operations. Treat patients of all ages ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Maintain knowledge of regulations, QA procedures, and quality patient care standards. Complete department-specific and hospital-required training courses. Hold a valid Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners license and Basic Life Support certification. This internal PRN role at OakBend Medical Center supports the hospital's No Wait ER, advanced trauma center, and stroke program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners
- Basic life support certification
- Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care
- Successful completion department specific and/or hospital required training courses
- Must be able to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric
