Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments evaluating functional status, activities of daily living, and home environments using evidence-based techniques. Evaluate occupational therapy needs related to medical conditions, consult with physicians to develop therapy plans of care, and observe patient responses to treatment. Record and report changes in patient condition to the nurse supervisor and physician while coordinating with the broader health care team. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle. Hourly pay ranges from $34.23 to $61.15.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
