Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs regarding functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, and home assessments. Conduct diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests to determine levels of function. Develop therapy plans of care in coordination with physicians and observe patient responses to treatment. Provide services within state laws and evidence-based techniques while documenting status for CMS requirements. Work independently in any home situation regardless of client demographics. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, driver's license, and vehicle access.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills
