Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore physical ability, following the treatment set defined by the supervising OT and the plan of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to the nurse supervisor and physician. Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and the health care team on therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant while adhering to state laws governing occupational therapy assistants. This role requires current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle. Annual total cash compensation ranges from $48,175 to $72,263 based on full-time employment and productivity targets.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
