Occupational Therapist

Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home assessments, and adaptive equipment. Conduct patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Observe, record, and report to the nurse supervisor and physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition. Consult with the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care while providing service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws. Maintain the ability to function in any home situation regardless of the client's age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure and a valid driver's license with vehicle insurance.
