Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments evaluating functional status, activities of daily living, and fine motor coordination while performing home assessments for adaptive equipment. Evaluate patient needs related to medical conditions, consult with physicians to develop therapy plans of care, and observe treatment responses for CMS documentation. Provide services within state laws, coordinate with the nurse supervisor and physician regarding patient condition changes, and apply diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle. Annual target pay ranges from $80,220 to $120,330 with visit point and hourly bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
