Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments evaluating functional status, activities of daily living, and fine motor coordination while performing home assessments for adaptive equipment. Evaluate occupational therapy needs based on medical conditions and CMS documentation requirements, consulting with physicians to develop therapy plans of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to nurse supervisors and physicians. Provide services within the scope of practice defined by state laws using evidence-based techniques in coordination with the healthcare team. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle; hourly pay ranges from $34.23 to $61.15.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
