Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments evaluating functional status, activities of daily living, and fine motor coordination using evidence-based techniques. Evaluate occupational therapy needs related to medical conditions and consult with physicians to develop therapy plans of care. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to nurse supervisors and physicians. Perform home assessments for adaptive equipment and function in diverse home situations regardless of client demographics. Maintain current Occupational Therapy licensure and a valid driver's license with vehicle access.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Access to a dependable vehicle
- Public transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Good communication, writing, and organizational skills
