Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, and home assessments. Conduct patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Provide service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, using evidence-based techniques in coordination with the health care team. Evaluate the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, consult with the physician to develop the therapy plan of care, and observe, record, and report the patient's response to treatment and condition changes to the nurse supervisor. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle. Hourly pay ranges from $34.23 to $61.15.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
