Job Summary
Evaluate student needs and deliver individualized occupational therapy services supporting fine motor development, sensory processing, and educational participation within Individualized Education Programs. Assess functional abilities, create and implement therapy plans, and coordinate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to recommend accommodations and adaptive strategies. Deliver in-person or teletherapy sessions, review progress data to modify interventions, and complete required documentation including evaluations and progress reports. Participate in ARD and IEP meetings to provide clinical findings and recommendations for students from early childhood through high school across Austin, San Antonio, and surrounding communities.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Current and active Texas Occupational Therapy license
- Knowledge of IEP procedures, special education services, and school-based therapy practices
- Ability to independently manage evaluations, therapy sessions, scheduling, and documentation
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to contribute effectively to a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting pediatric or school-based populations is preferred
