Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist - provide direct rehabilitative OT services in a skilled nursing facility. Responsible for promoting functional outcomes through ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning within an interdisciplinary team. Maintain and contribute to patient care plans, participate in care conferences, and apply evidence-based interventions for ADLs and adaptive needs while documenting in electronic medical records. Role involves travel assignments with shift schedule 08:30-16:30, 5 days/week, in Passaic, NJ, offering benefits including housing options and travel/license reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- Documentation and electronic medical record experience preferred
- Prior travel therapy experience preferred
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning preferred
