Job Summary
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy in a skilled nursing environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, facilitate functional outcomes, and document progress to support safe discharge and quality of life improvements. Assist patients in regaining or improving daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This assignment includes five 8-hour shifts per week from 08:30–16:30. Candidates must hold an active Michigan Occupational Therapy license, a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree, and BLS certification. Prior travel therapy experience and familiarity with ADL training are preferred. Benefits begin your first day and include 100% paid housing, weekly pay, and full medical coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Prior travel therapy experience
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and therapy documentation systems
