Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves supporting functional recovery, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary care for geriatric residents. Practice includes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documentation to facility standards, and implementation of restorative nursing programs. Schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts totaling approximately 30 hours per week (08:30–16:30). Licensing requirements include an active Massachusetts OT license; BLS may be required. Candidate pool includes OT or COTA; travel therapy context with guaranteed hours and travel-related benefits. Location: Framingham, MA with travel assignment considerations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- Current BLS certification may be required
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
- OT or COTA candidates may be considered; license level must meet state and facility requirements
- Willingness to provide services consistent with facility policies and documentation standards
