Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist role in a hospital setting (Richmond, VA) requiring a Virginia OT license and 2 years of hospital experience. Provides patient-centered OT care in acute care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, with opportunities for floating to nearby facilities. Shift 07:00–17:00 (10-hour days) with potential for travel-related housing and licensing support. Emphasis on ADL retraining, early mobilization, cognitive-based interventions, and evidence-based documentation to improve patient function and independence.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Virginia
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Virginia OT license required
- Two years of hospital experience
- BLS certification may be required
- Clinical documentation experience with EMR preferred
