Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist role in San Leandro, CA providing skilled evaluation and treatment to patients across multiple settings to support functional independence and safe discharge planning. Responsibilities include clinical judgment, documentation, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; focus on ADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment; address neurological and orthopedic diagnoses with measurable outcomes in inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. Requires California OT license and may require BLS; shift 08:00-16:30; offers housing and travel/license reimbursement as part of a benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in multiple settings, including inpatient rehabilitation and acute care, preferred
- Current, verifiable clinical experience evaluating and treating adults with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses preferred
