Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist needed to make a meaningful difference by helping patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills in a skilled nursing facility. Requires a formal OT degree (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral) and an active WA OT license; BLS may be required. Prior SNF experience and familiarity with restorative nursing and long-term care populations are preferred, with EMR documentation experience valued. Position is 14 weeks, days 08:00–16:30, facility-based with float between two long-term care locations. Responsibilities include delivering occupational therapy services to improve daily living skills and contributing to patient care within a skilled nursing setting; benefits include full medical, 401k matching, housing, travel and license reimbursement, and recruiter support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility environments is required
- Experience with restorative nursing programs and long-term care patient populations preferred
- Ability to manage documentation in electronic medical record systems preferred
