Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide home-based occupational therapy to support patient independence and functional outcomes for individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Coordinate care, document according to agency standards, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient progress and safety in the home environment. Deliver services across Jackson County with occasional visits to Clay, Platte, and Ray counties while meeting productivity expectations of 32 points per week. Work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, in a role that requires an active Missouri license and at least 12 months of recent home health experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Occupational Therapy state license
- At least 12 months of home health experience within the past 3 years
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Ability to meet minimum productivity expectations of 32 points per week
- Days, 8 hours per day
- Workweek: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Primary service area: Mostly Jackson County with some travel to Clay, Platte, and Ray counties
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB)
- Previous experience providing home health OT services in Jackson County and surrounding areas
- Familiarity with documentation workflows for home health agencies
