Job Summary
Provide skilled rehabilitation services to help patients regain or improve daily skills in a skilled nursing setting. Conduct ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, and functional mobility assessments for geriatric populations. Utilize gait training equipment, ADL kitchen and bathroom setups, and virtual reality therapy systems to enhance functional independence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and rehab technicians to support patient recovery. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapy license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment, and functional mobility in geriatric populations
- Experience using ADL kitchen and bathroom training setups and working with gait training equipment
- Familiarity with therapy tech support or supervising rehab techs
