Job Summary
Conduct occupational therapy services for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to help them regain daily skills within a skilled nursing facility in Forestville, MD. Manage documentation for long-term care and Medicare/Medicaid billing procedures while providing restorative programs for geriatric populations. Maintain an active Maryland Occupational Therapy license and BLS certification, with experience in skilled nursing required. Work a 5x8 day shift from 08:30–16:30 for a 13-week assignment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility
- Competence with documentation for long-term care and Medicare/Medicaid billing procedures
