Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting in Oklahoma City, OK. The OT will perform evaluations, establish individualized treatment plans, document progress within defined timeframes, contribute to discharge planning and patient/family education, promote safety, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide efficient, patient-centered care. Duties include supervising COTAs and students, participating in quality assurance efforts, maintaining patient confidentiality, and supporting travel benefits including housing and license reimbursement. Shift pattern is 5x8; benefits begin day one and include medical, 401(k) matching, recruiter support, and travel/licensing reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Oklahoma State OT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with inpatient hospital or acute care populations preferred.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, document per department policy, and participate in interdisciplinary team rounds.
- Experience supervising COTAs and OT students preferred.
