Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy across acute hospital settings while traveling to Benton, IL. Deliver care to patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living skills. Role may involve floating between units (acute care, ICU, PCU, step-down, medical/surgical, acute rehab) and may require adherence to unit-specific requirements (e.g., NIHSS, ACLS, PALS). Schedule features include 4x10-hour shifts per week with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts; on-site hospital-based environment with continuous patient care and professional growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in inpatient hospital settings preferred
- Ability to work in acute care, ICU, PCU, step-down, medical/surgical, and acute rehab settings as needed
- Experience with NIHSS may be required for several units
- ACLS and PALS may be required for certain emergency and ICU settings
