Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist sought to float across multiple hospital campuses in Carbondale, IL. Provide OT services to patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to regain or improve daily living skills in an acute hospital setting. Assignment features four 10-hour daytime shifts with a rotation including two weekdays and two weekend shifts. Requires Illinois OT license and BLS; certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS may be required depending on unit. Floating between hospitals within the health system is expected. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois OT license required to start the assignment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
- Experience in acute care or hospital inpatient settings preferred
- Experience with acute rehabilitation, step-down/PCU, and ICU patient populations preferred
- Ability to float between multiple hospital campuses as required by the client
- Certifications required by specific hospital departments may include ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS depending on unit assignment
- (Preferred: CSU-ALS for ICU assignments)
