Job Summary
Conduct daily occupational therapy sessions to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain daily skills, with required experience in hip and knee replacements, lifting, transfers, and patient education. Manage documentation, safety, and injury prevention while providing telephone support. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with weekend rotations every sixth weekend (7:30 AM to 4:00 PM) and potential floating between facilities. Maintain an active state license and hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active State License
- 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Adult care experience
- Adaptive equipment experience
- Experience with hip fracture, total hip replacement, knee injuries, and total knee replacement
- Experience with lifting and transfer, patient and family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, and documentation
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC
