Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist role in a Skilled Nursing Facility provides evaluative and therapeutic services to patients to improve or regain daily living skills. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, documenting progress in accordance with facility and state regulations, delivering ADL training, recommending adaptive equipment, ensuring safe patient handling, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Requires a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and an active New York OT license; BLS may be required. Shift is days, location Oswego, NY, with travel-based contract arrangements and 100% paid housing options plus relocation assistance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy License
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross (may be required)
- Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care preferred
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Experience with ADL training and adaptive equipment recommendations (preferred)
- Collaborative with interdisciplinary teams
- Willingness to complete facility orientation and training
