Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist in Las Vegas, NV responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and delivering outpatient therapy for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Collaborates with physicians and therapy leadership, documents care per standards, participates in multidisciplinary teams, and supports department operations. Requires Master’s degree in OT, Nevada licensure or eligibility, NBCOT, and BLS; outpatient evaluation experience; and ability to document patient care. Preferred: outpatient clinic or occupational medicine experience, gait training, therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment/home exercise programs, triage, and obtaining physician prescriptions for therapy services. Assignment duration is 13 weeks with an 8-5 schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Nevada or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to the assignment start
- Successful completion of the NBCOT or equivalent national registry examination
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical conditions in an outpatient setting
- Ability to document patient care according to facility and regulatory standards
- Willingness to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in department-level business or operational activities as needed
