Job Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing facility to help patients regain daily living skills following injuries, illnesses, or disability. Conduct functional mobility assessments, offer adaptive equipment recommendations, and lead ADL retraining sessions. Maintain documentation using systems common in post-acute care settings while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This assignment includes 100% paid housing, travel and license reimbursement, and weekly pay. Located in Berlin, MD, the role offers access to coastal attractions and outdoor recreation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Maryland state Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience providing OT services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
- Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and functional mobility assessments
- Prior travel therapy or contract OT experience
- Experience with documentation systems commonly used in post-acute care
