Job Summary
Deliver restorative care in a skilled nursing setting to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain daily living skills. Maintain clinical growth through varied caseloads and interdisciplinary collaboration while contributing to improved patient function, safety, and discharge outcomes. Work five 8-hour shifts per week from 08:30 to 16:30 with guaranteed 35 hours. Maintain an active Illinois Occupational Therapy state license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy state license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care environments
- Experience with ADL training, adaptive equipment, and documentation in electronic health records
- Prior travel therapy experience
- Experience with restorative programs and fall prevention
