Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy services in a travel contract within a hospital setting in Petersburg, VA. Deliver assessments, individualized treatment plans, therapeutic interventions, and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Educate patients and families and participate in interdisciplinary discharge planning and department performance improvement activities. Maintain professional licenses and certifications, support continuing education, and contribute to team functions and department productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-approved program or foreign equivalent
- Active Virginia OT license (VA OT lic) required prior to start
- NBCOT certification required
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care hospital experience and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience treating adult and geriatric populations, including ortho post-op, ICU, cardiopulmonary, stroke, and med/surg patients preferred
