Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist in a hospital setting with the Detroit area. Responsibilities include completing evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, participating in interdisciplinary teams, discharge planning, supervising COTAs and students, and maintaining documentation per facility policy. Opportunities to support patient outcomes in acute care, provide supervision of support staff and students, and contribute to discharge planning. Requires OT degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and Michigan OT license; BLS may be required. Travel assignment with partial schedule (4x5). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting preferred
- Experience supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants or students preferred
- Ability to perform patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document according to facility policy
