Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist needed for a skilled nursing facility in Socorro, NM. Provide occupational therapy to help patients regain or improve daily living skills after injury, illness, or disability. Must hold an active New Mexico OT license and a relevant degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral) and be willing to be onsite to receive guaranteed hours. Role requires BLS (per client policy) and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered goals. Responsibilities include implementing evidence-based interventions, meeting a 90% productivity standard (as specified by the client), following facility and company policies, and traveling to the assignment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New Mexico Occupational Therapy license
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC (may be required)
- Experience in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred
- Ability to meet productivity requirement of 90% as specified by the client (preferred)
- Willingness to follow facility and company policies and procedures, including dress code of black scrubs and onsite presence to receive guaranteed hours
