Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist role performing OT starts of care, evaluations, recertifications, discharges, and treatments in community and assisted living settings for Bourne, MA coverage areas (Cape Cod, South Shore, South Coast). Requires Massachusetts OT license, Home Health/HomeCare HomeBase experience, and ability to operate as an independent contractor. Standard days shift 0800-1600, 40 hours/week with 32 guaranteed weekly hours; mileage reimbursement for visits; 100% paid housing option; travel/license reimbursement; benefits package including medical, 401k matching, recruiter support, and referrals. Strong emphasis on hands-on rehabilitation, cognitive therapy preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Massachusetts OT license required to start the assignment
- Home Health experience required
- Experience with HomeCare HomeBase or similar electronic documentation systems required
- Ability to perform OT starts of care, evaluations, recertifications, discharges, and treatments in community and assisted living settings
- Current BLS certification may be required
- Ability to work as an independent contractor and comply with professional certification and education requirements
- Preferred: experience with cognitive therapy
