Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist role in Lisle, IL delivering in-home therapy within a home health setting. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients to regain or improve daily living skills, documenting care in Home Care Home Base, managing a patient caseload, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered goals. Requires OT degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate), active IL OT license, home health experience, ability to travel locally (approx. 25 miles/day), and EMR experience with Home Care Home Base. Orientation and travel logistics provided; schedule typically Monday–Friday with full-time hours and 100% paid housing available and travel/license reimbursement. Emphasis on delivering community-based therapy, documentation efficiency, and contributing to patient independence and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois OT license to start the assignment
- Home health experience required
- Experience using Home Care Home Base EMR preferred
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required
- Ability to travel locally for patient visits (approx. 25 miles/day)
- Productivity target ~30 visits per week for registered therapists
