Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist position in outpatient rehabilitation in West Branch, MI. Responsibilities include performing formal and informal testing to evaluate function; developing goal-specific treatment regimens; coordinating assessment, intervention, and evaluation in accordance with occupational therapy standards; documenting plans of care and updating them as patient status changes; coordinating treatment schedules with patients, families, and clinical staff; educating patients and caregivers regarding conditions and interventions; and providing supervision for OTAs, aides, and students per affiliate and regulatory standards. Shift hours are Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a 40-hour guarantee. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years
- Experience in acute care with outpatient experience
- Two supervisory references
- Work history and skills checklist current to 1 year
