Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Evaluate patients per physician orders, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary team and discharge planning, supervise COTAs and students, complete required documentation, and promote patient and employee safety. This 13-week day shift (4x5) assignment begins immediately in a Detroit hospital setting for an OT holding an active Michigan license. BLS certification is required, with acute care experience and student supervision skills preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting
- Experience supervising COTAs and OT students
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control procedures
