Job Summary
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services across inpatient and outpatient hospital settings on a travel contract in Scottsbluff, NE. Responsibilities include performing OT evaluations, developing treatment plans, and documenting in electronic health records; contribute to interdisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and outcome-driven rehabilitation to improve functional independence. Work in both inpatient and outpatient environments; outpatient position requires PAMS certification. Skills include ADL/IADL training, splinting, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Nebraska Occupational Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or equivalent required upon hire.
- Clinical experience in hospital settings, including inpatient care, outpatient care, or both.
- Ability to perform standard OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in electronic health records.
- Willingness to follow site-specific performance expectations and facility policies; failure to meet expectations may result in contract termination.
- For the outpatient position: PAMS certification preferred and required for that specific opening.
