Job Summary
Travel Occupational Therapist in Houston, TX providing inpatient rehabilitation OT evaluations and daily treatments within an interdisciplinary team. Requires an OT degree and Texas licensure, plus BLS. Shift hours are 08:00–17:00 with a preference for Tuesday–Saturday; assignment includes 20-bed unit, potential float to acute care or outpatient areas, and use of Meditech EMR. Key duties include OT evaluations, treatment planning and discharge planning, working with a team that includes PT, SLP, RNs, and therapy technicians. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Current, active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license for the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
