Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Job Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy in a travel home-health setting: assess occupational performance, implement individualized treatment plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living skills; fabricate and maintain splints and adaptive devices; teach adaptive techniques and equipment use; document progress and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care. Responsibilities include clinical assessments, Plans of Care preparation/revision, progress notes, infection control practices, and ensuring accurate records for third-party payers. Requires graduate OT degree, state licensure, CPR, ability to travel locally, and at least two years of OT experience in acute rehab or similar settings. Shift is Days (5x8), with flexible schedule and potential to float within the region; travel/remote work not indicated. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license as an Occupational Therapist required prior to the start of the assignment
- Proof of current CPR certification required
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required. Ability to travel locally and perform home visits.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting required
- Ability to perform physical job demands including heavy lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, prolonged standing and walking
