Job Summary
Conduct daily occupational therapy in a skilled nursing facility to help patients regain daily skills following injury, illness, or disability. Establish patient-centered goals and apply sensory integration approaches for adults, utilizing NetHealth/PCC electronic medical records for documentation. Maintain an approximate 40-hour weekly schedule with an anticipated start date of July 10. Submit a resume for review and coordinate with recruiters for further assignment details. This role supports professional development through interdisciplinary collaboration and varied caseloads within the Akron metropolitan area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Ohio Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Experience or willingness to learn sensory integration techniques for adults
- Experience with NetHealth/PCC
- Prior travel therapy experience
- Comfortable with patient goal setting and documentation in an electronic medical record
