Job Summary
Provide patient-centered occupational therapy in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting focused on maximizing function and quality of life for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic conditions. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation. This assignment is located in Longview, TX, within a 36-bed facility, with shift hours and on-call details to be confirmed by a recruiter upon application.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license
Desired Qualifications
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC
- Experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) settings
- Experience treating patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, neurological conditions, trauma, or complex orthopedic injury
- Previous experience working in a 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital
- Experience with intensive, individualized treatment plans and interdisciplinary team collaboration
